After you have been registered on a border of the Federal Republic you will be passed in the custody of a federal state following a special plan of distribution. You may not choose, in what state or what city you will be accommodated - even if you have friends or family in Germany. After your arrival you will get in contact with the local foreigner registration office. They can give you advice about your stay, and a temporary residence permit or tolerate. Please wear this paper document with you at all times. On the residential allowance or submission is the indication of whether you are required to reside in a reception center. You will be assigned to a certain region in the county that will be your home base for the next time. You are not allowed to leave this place without permission of the foreigner’s authority in the first three months of your stay. If you want to change the region or even the state, you have to send a written request to the immigration authorities. The proposal will be accepted, for important reasons, such as a family reunion. However, the process of approval or rejection can last more than three months. Be prepared for that and please be patient. If you long to receive an answer, please ask.
